Superstar Christina Aguilera has taken radio by storm this week. "Not Myself Tonight", the first single off her upcoming album Bionic (RCA Records) has annihilated the competition coming in at the most added song at both Top 40 and Rhythm radio this week. Additionally, with 120 Top 40 adds, it is the most added Top 40 song of this year.

Kelis Sets Album Release, Performance with will.i.am Now Online

Flesh Tone, the new album from Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Kelis, will be released in the U.S. and Canada on July 6th and on May 17th in all other countries.

Tipped as one of 2010's "Best Bets" by Billboard, the record will be her first for will.i.am Music Group/Interscope Records.

Earlier this week Kelis was joined by guest DJ will.i.am on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in a riveting performance of lead single "Acapella". Check it out - here

Richard Hawley Announces New EP

On June 8th 2010, Richard Hawley releases a new EP False Lights From The Land on Mute. Comprised of four songs inspired by the ocean (a familiar theme in Hawley's songwriting), the EP will be available as a digital download.

Inspired by Richard Hawley's recent BBC Radio 2 series The Ocean (wherein he explored how the sea, seafaring culture and sea travel has shaped the music, art and literature of The British Isles), False Lights From The Land features two original Hawley compositions: the lead song, Remorse Code (taken from his critically acclaimed album Truelove's Gutter) and a previously unreleased song, The Storm.

Additionally, the EP offers two cover tunes: a haunting rendition of The Ellan Vannin Tragedy (written by Hughie Jones of English folk legends The Spinners), which tells the tale of a ship that sank in stormy weather off Liverpool Bay in 1909 killing all 36 aboard; and an a cappella performance of Shallow Brown, a pumping shanty of West Indian origin. Ashley Miers Release Party Also A Fundraising Event

When singer Ashley Miers appears at American Film Institute this Saturday, April 10, she will be seeking help for a cause as well as acclaim. Ashley has chosen Mental Health America as a cause she is supporting through a unique, new program called "Share the Mic." It connects musicians with charities and provides a vehicle for the artist and the cause to share the same stage and raise awareness and funds.

In her youth, Ashley was exposed to drugs and alcohol and began her struggle with serious anxiety and depression. She has experienced the unfortunate consequences experienced by many of those with untreated or under-treated mental health and substance use disorders including jail and hospitalization.

Despite this, and perhaps largely because of it, she has dedicated herself to recovery and has strived to achieve her dreams. Her perseverance has enabled her to earn her college degree and record/release a 3-song EP and full-length album of her original music. - more on this story
