Which of these terms does not belong: Disney, Miley Cyrus, Ice Cream Cart, Stripper Pole, Televised Teen Awards Show? One of these has caused another sexually charged controvery for teen star Miley Cyrus.Billboard reports: Three days after her performance of new single "Party in the U.S.A." at the Teen Choice Awards, Miley Cyrus is still facing controversy over the risquι number, which featured a prominent pole and some questionable dance moves. The sixteen-year-old singer emerged onstage wearing a tank top, hip-hugging shorts and boots and at one point straddled what resembled a stripper pole protruding from an ice cream cart. Fans immediately took to the Internet to debate over whether Cyrus' performance was inappropriate for her age and young fanbase, while Disney Channel, the home to Cyrus' "Hannah Montana" show, seemed eager to avoid being linked to the controversy.

AP reports: Michael Jackson's death has been ruled a homicide caused by a mix of drugs meant to treat insomnia, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press, while his personal doctor told investigators he was actually trying to wean the King of Pop off the powerful anesthetic that did him in.Forensic tests found the anesthetic propofol combined with at least two sedatives to kill Jackson, according to the official, who spoke Monday on condition of anonymity because the findings have not been publicly released. Based on those tests, the Los Angeles County Coroner has ruled the death a homicide, the official said. The coroner's homicide ruling does not necessarily mean a crime was committed. But it makes it more likely criminal charges will be filed against Dr. Conrad Murray

As we touched on yesterday when we reported on Chris Brown not having to serve any jail time for beating Rihanna, a probation's officer report came to light which documented two other incidents "related to domestic violence" with Rihanna. The Los Angeles Times details those two incidents: The first incident allegedly occurred about three months earlier, in Europe, when Brown and Rihanna were in a "verbal dispute," according to the report, which cited detectives investigating the case. She slapped him and Brown responded by shoving her into a wall, the report alleged. Three weeks before the February incident, Brown and Rihanna were in Barbados, driving a Range Rover lent to them by a local dealership when they had an argument inside the car, according to the report. Hecklerspray reports: It's becoming clear that Eminem and Mariah Carey are the Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor of pop. No, wait, that's wrong. We meant to say that Eminem and Mariah Carey are the honking, toothless, meth-addicted, redneck, laundry-airing Jerry Springer guests of pop. Yes, that's better. So far, Eminem wrote a song about having sex with Mariah Carey, then Mariah Carey wrote a song calling Eminem obsessed, and now Eminem has written a song threatening to release voicemails and nude pictures of Mariah. Coming soon, Mariah says that Eminem runs like a girl and has fleas and wets the bed. IDST. Not since Hilary Duff said something vaguely obtuse about Faye Dunaway's age has a celebrity spat gripped the world like this. Mariah Carey (a woman who's about to bring a new album out) and Eminem (a man who recently brought a new album out and has a bit-part in a new movie that just happens to be released in America today) are at each other's throats.
